Is centerless grinding the same as grinding between centers?
No. The way the part is supported and driven differs. Choose the process around the geometry and drawing requirements; if the method is not fixed by your specification, identify the required result for review.
Should I send only the final diameter?
Include the full part drawing. Length, shoulders, material condition, starting stock and finish requirements all provide context that a single diameter cannot.
