Can I quote a replacement from a sample?
Contact sales to discuss the sample and the documentation available. Identify the approved dimensions or drawing revision when possible; wear on an existing component may not represent its original intended geometry.
Should the drawing include the mating component?
Include it when it defines a critical fit or relationship. If you only have the individual component print, explain the application and identify any fit requirement that still needs clarification.
